Hello, "organizers",

Please pardon my tardiness in signing this guest book. Always "when I have a minute". Well, I've got nothing but time right now! (More on that in a moment.) As Lucy said, we have a wedding on October 5th. Our middle child, Courtney, is getting married out here in the western suburbs. (I'll be thinking of you, David Frank, as you walk your daughter down the aisle!). Our oldest, Katie, got married July 6th. And in between, I must have been craving some attention. I had a mild heart attack on September 17th. I'm doing great......just a few stents put in.....nothing that will effect my mother-of-the-(second)-bride dress. I'm already back to walking, and will be back in the pool after a few sessions of rehab. BTW - I've lost the last year and a half and all my numbers were normal....just listen to your body! The plus side, off of work until after the wedding......I could get used to this! Anyway, so sorry I'll miss the reunion ~ see you in 2023 ~ if not before!

I remember seeing the 40 year reunion people getting off of a bus to watch the homecoming parade - yikes, now its us. I appreciate all of the work put in by the committee and I am really looking forward to seeing so many folks who we grew up with in an interesting time and place. Cheers to 40 years. Greg

I'm finally going to make a reunion -- it only took 40 years! I live the in Detroit area - so I have never been that far from Hinsdale, but since my parents moved away (when I was in college) -- I haven't returned very often.

Very excited to be coming to the reunion. Thanks to all of the committee members for pulling this together. I'm looking forward to seeing Dan Waterloo, after many years being locker neighbors (Warmbold, Wascher, Waterloo,.... if I remember correctly).

This will be my first Hinsdale reunion to date... reading the posted comments leads to the question - did I go to the same school?? We live in a 160 year old victorian farm house out in the middle of nowhere 30 minutes from Madison, WI with six acres and many cats - no not all inside! We have two children who live in the Madison area with all five of my grandchildren (I'm not old enough for this!!!!). I have retired from running the world and now just try to keep up. My husband, Alan, sells drugs on a street corner in the middle of the night in Madison...legally. He's a night pharmacist for Walgreens. Looking forward to seeing how many people I may (or may not) know!

THANK YOU to all the organizers......I know this was lots of work and lots of frustration trying to track people down. Jana and I will be there and looking forward to it all!! While I'm not sure I'll have time for a face lift, liposuction, plastic surgery, and an extreme makeover by then, I think you'll recognize me if you just add LOTS of pounds on from the 40th. Can't wait!! ---Beresky----

Greetings from Texas !! Having gone through grade school (The Lane Elementary) then Jr. High and then finally good old Hinsdale Central with fellow members of the Class of 1973 I had an unfortunate turn of events of my own making and fell a few credits short of graduation - BUT made them up and I do proudly have a diploma from Hinsdale Central - just took longer than expected and I missed graduating with my fellow classmates.
My life after HS has taken me down to the Lone Star state. First it was Austin where I worked for the University of Texas at Austin PD and was able to retire on full benefits back in August of 2007. I just recently made the move from Austin and now living up in Arlington , part of the DFW metroplex.
I am divorced , Father of 3 great children - 2 girls and 1 boy , and also a proud Grandfather of 2 boys from my oldest daughter. Last time I was up North was back in 2006. I'm sure a lot has changed since then.

Hello all... just a note to update you on what's going on...

We had a meeting regarding the details of the reunion Saturday, Aug 10. It's all on track, and the main thing is that you attend.

Just in case you are on the fence, and concerned about "I could be more successful... I should be thinner... I should _fill in the blank_ I'm not _fill_in_the_blank_"... HEY! Don't worry about it! Just come 'as you are'... we want to see you and reconnect. It will be a lot of fun, and everyone has changed in many ways, it will be good to see everyone. Many of our classmates have put in a yoeman's effort to find us all, organize the event, etc. This great effort has lowered the ticket price for the Saturday night event. So do come, and relax, and have fun!

We have many of the details figured out, and shortly I will be updating this website with registration details... how to sign up for the Saturday night get together at the Grotto (it's between OakBrook and Yorktown Shopping Centers), how to sign up for the golf outing on Friday, where to meet if you are going to the homecoming parade on Saturday, and more info on the football game against LT on Saturday afternoon. I'll also be mailing a printed invitation via the USPS mail, and sending out emails to everyone.

You can help by calling some of your high school friends and tell them that you're attending, and looking forward to seeing them there... We need to 'build the buzz' so this is as fun and enjoyable for as many of us as possible!

Thanks go out to all the helpers for bringing this from a thought to reality!

Hi Dan and the rest of the class of 1973,
I did miss the last reunion event but will do my best 2 make it happen this time.
I just spent the last 30yrs. in Vail Co and just moved to Boulder this month. Big changes but all for the best.
It is just amazing how so many names have come out of the past when talking with Marcia Angsten. I have visited and see Holly Barr and Clarice Smithson on some of my visits back to Hinsdale but most of my time is in helping out with my parents.
I certainly look forward 2 seeing everyone!

Thanks Dan for once again stepping into the breech.

I'm sure this event will be, again, as good as our last event!

An early thanks to all that are working hard on making this happen.
